A ropes course or zipline in wakesys is a course with its own calendar of guided departures. Every ticket, waiver and group hangs off a departure. wakesys runs the ropes course at Charleston Aqua Park, the park its founders operate, on this model. These are the objects the system holds:
- Course
- Name, its own schedule, a difficulty label and the restrictions that apply to it.
- Departure
- Date, fixed start time, duration, guide capacity, price. Departures are the sessions guests book.
- Ticket
- One per participant, sold online or at the iPad POS. Weight and height are captured at booking, so a restriction is caught before the harness station, not at it.
- Waiver
- One per participant, signed before arrival from the shared link, with guardian consent for minors. Checked at check-in.
- Group
- A school or corporate organiser books the departure and shares a link; each participant claims a ticket and signs their own waiver.
- Check-in
- Staff see waiver status, restriction answers and the departure list on one screen at the harness station.
