The short version

wakesys is built for booking-led parks that need timed sessions, birthday groups and guardian-signed waivers before arrival. If recurring memberships, multi-venue control, arcade redemption or kart timing drive your business, use the venue shortlists below to choose which specialist to demo.

How we made this comparison

We checked the linked product pages, pricing pages and help centres on 21 September 2026. We sell wakesys; the venue shortlists are our editorial judgement, not a measured ranking of the vendors.

  • We included broad FEC platforms and specialists for arcade, karting and climbing venues. This is not every product on the market.
  • Product features and published prices come from each vendor. Review scores come from G2 or Capterra, with review counts shown because small samples can move quickly. Confirm plan limits and your final quote with the vendor.
  • We have not run identical hands-on tests of all ten products. “Not covered in its help centre” means we could not verify the workflow in the public material; it does not mean the product cannot do it.

For a trampoline park that needs recurring memberships and a full on-site POS today, ROLLER has the broader documented toolset; its waivers are a paid add-on. wakesys covers timed booking, parties and pre-arrival guardian waivers, with its current features free through 2026, but memberships are still in development. Demo both against your Saturday workflow. VenueSumo is another option if memberships and a café are central.

What it does well
One adult books and shares a link. Every family claims their own tickets and signs their own waiver on their phone, at home. For every child, the signer is asked whether the child is their own; if not, they can send the parent a link. Staff see who is ready before the group walks in. Prices change by weekday, by how early the guest books, by group size and for a second session, by rules you set yourself.

Head-office tools that push products, prices and POS menus to venues, memberships with pause, upgrade and failed-payment recovery, a built-in AI assistant, and karting and bowling modules.

  • Waivers are a paid add-on, and a venue can have one active waiver.1
  • Loyalty, the mobile check-in app, API access and reseller channels are paid add-ons too. The API is capped at one call per second.2
  • Online accounts, guest lists for parties, custom staff roles and invoicing start on the Pro plan.3
  • Custom reports are not supported.4
  • ROLLER does not issue a refund automatically when a guest edits their own booking; the guest can contact the venue under its refund policy.5
  • Your old data is imported by ROLLER’s team, not by you.6

CenterEdge Advantage

The US FEC veteran, arcade and redemption included

Best for
US FECs with a game floor and a prize counter that want one on-site system for tills, inventory, staff scheduling and time clock.
Price
$300 a month for 1 to 3 workstations, $550 for 4 to 9, $800 for 10 to 15, bundled with its own card processing. Redemption adds $100 a month, integrations $50, digital signage $50.

A Windows server and Windows stations in your building, with a cloud webstore, kiosk and memberships around it.

What it does well
It publishes its prices. Its own game card and wristband system, a redemption counter module, purchase orders and stock rooms, and a booking map where guests click the cabana they want.

Passes, rentals and gates for bigger parks

Best for
Water parks, ski hills and amusement parks that rent equipment, sell season passes to households and scan at the gate.
Price
No public plan prices. Extras are priced in its help centre: a marketing module from $39 a month, text messages at 4 cents, custom reports at $100 an hour.
Runs on
Browser. Receipt printers, cash drawers and ticket printers need a Windows computer.

Go-kart tracks and venues built around timed heats, with a bar or restaurant that needs table service.

The young all-in-one from Australia

Best for
Play centres and mixed venues in Australia and New Zealand, especially with weekly direct-debit memberships and a café.
Price
Three plans set by your annual revenue (under $1m, over $1m, enterprise), all on quote. No booking fee. The smallest plan includes 2 POS logins and one waiver form.
Runs on
Browser. Printing needs a Windows PC that stays switched on.

A party scheduler first

Best for
US venues where birthday parties are nearly all the revenue.
Price
Quote only. Websites, SEO and email campaigns are sold as extra services.
Runs on
Browser, plus a Windows service on every till computer. Tablets cannot be tills.
What it does well
Party packages, checklists that must be finished before an order closes, placards and daily run sheets, online party booking with “find the next available date”, and recently ticketed events.

Best for
Go-kart tracks that want timing, leaderboards and driver rankings in the same system as the till.
Price
$399 a month (Core) or $699 (Premium, with 24/7 support). 20% less if you pay yearly.
Runs on
A Windows server at each track.
What it does well
Race timing, ProSkill rankings, scoreboards on every screen, kart parts and maintenance, and credits that let the same system run axe throwing or bowling next to the track.

Arcades and large FECs where cashless play on readers, wristbands and lockers is the core of the operation.

Its own readers, kiosks and tills, with online booking and a guest app.
What it does well
Card readers on every game, RFID wristbands and lockers, redemption and inventory, party and slot bookings, used by 1,800 venues in more than 50 countries by its own count.

  • Its help centre is behind a login, so ask for the documentation before you sign.20
  • Booking and marketing are add-ons to a card system, not the other way round.

Run the same Saturday in every demo

A demo shows you what the vendor wants you to see. Bring this instead, and ask them to do it live.

  1. Book a party of twelve on a phone

    Not on the salesperson’s laptop. On a phone, as a parent would, including the deposit.

  2. Get twelve children signed by four different parents

    Three of those adults are signing for children who are not theirs. Watch what the system asks them, and what the real parent gets.

  3. Stand at the desk at 1:55 for a 2:00 party

    Who is ready, who is not, and how long does it take to fix the ones who are not?

  4. Refund one child who is ill

    One ticket, not the booking. Does the seat go back on sale, and does the parent get a receipt?

  5. Ask for last Saturday against the Saturday before

    By attraction and by hour. See whether you get it yourself or have to ask support.

Questions operators ask

It depends on what the centre sells. For an FEC that runs on timed sessions, birthday parties and waivers for every child, wakesys: guests book on a phone, every family signs at home, and staff see who is ready. For an FEC where the arcade and the prize counter are the business, CenterEdge or Parafait. For a group with many sites and recurring memberships, ROLLER.

wakesys is free for the 2026 season and you pay Stripe’s standard card rate; your 2027 price is confirmed in writing before you go live. CenterEdge publishes $300 to $800 a month by number of workstations. Clubspeed publishes $399 or $699 a month. ROLLER, Aluvii, BMI Leisure, VenueSumo, Party Center Software and Parafait quote after a demo. Add hardware, card processing and any paid add-ons before you compare.

wakesys, CenterEdge, Aluvii, VenueSumo, Party Center Software and Clubspeed include waivers. ROLLER sells waivers as a paid add-on and allows one active waiver per venue. VenueSumo’s smallest plan includes one waiver form.

wakesys asks the signer, for every child, whether the child is their own. If not, the signer sees a confirmation first and can send the parent a link to sign from their own phone. We could not verify an equivalent question in the other vendors’ public help material. Ask each vendor to demonstrate the flow.

ROLLER sells waivers as an add-on, with one active waiver per venue in several languages, signed after checkout, from an email or at a kiosk, and assigned to each ticket by staff at the till. Party hosts can invite guests and track signatures with the party guest list, which needs the Pro plan and online accounts. Guest records, flags and segments are built in; email campaigns go through Campaign Monitor.

A venue platform sells tickets, runs sessions, parties, waivers and the till. A card system such as Embed, Intercard or Sacoa runs cashless play on arcade games. Large FECs run both, connected. CenterEdge and Parafait sell the two as one product.

wakesys, ROLLER, Aluvii and VenueSumo run in a browser. CenterEdge, BMI Leisure, Clubspeed and the installed version of Rock Gym Pro run on Windows computers in your building. Several browser-based platforms still need a Windows computer for receipt printers and cash drawers.
