Their waiver has an "Add Another Minor" repeater with no relationship field. wakesys asks whether each child is the signer's own, warns a non-guardian with a full-screen confirmation, and sends a link so the real parent can sign from their own phone.
Evidence that holds up
Their form fetches the signer's IP in the browser from a third-party service and posts it in a hidden field. wakesys records IP and user agent server-side, stores a SHA-256 hash of the submitted fields with a signature checksum, and archives a PDF.
Not one waiver form
Their entry plan includes a single waiver form, so a park needing separate adult, minor and event documents has to move up a tier. wakesys does not count your forms.[1]
Every guest claims their own ticket
The host books once and shares one link. Each family claims its own named ticket and signs for its own children before arrival. VenueSumo sends party invitations; it does not document guests claiming their own ticket.

Their classes exist as a membership benefit rather than a bookable course, with no enrolment, multi-day or roster feature. wakesys runs beginner courses and multi-day summer camps as products in their own right.

Across tens of thousands of checked-in tickets on wakesys, 93% had a signed waiver before arrival and 86% were assigned to a named person before check-in. Only 0.6% needed a signature at the desk.[2]

Their waiver is a three-step flow: adult or guardian details, then minors, then a declaration. The minors step has an "Add Another Minor" repeater, so one adult signs for an unlimited number of children. There is no field for the signer's relationship to each child, no per-minor consent and no guardianship attestation. Guardianship is asserted only by a sentence in the template body.
A drawn signature and an IP address. The browser fetches the IP from a third-party lookup service and submits it in a hidden field, so the client supplies it. VenueSumo documents no hash, no tamper evidence and no PDF of the signed waiver. wakesys records IP and device server-side, stores a SHA-256 hash of the signed data plus a signature checksum, and archives a PDF.
VenueSumo doesn't publish prices on its own site. GetApp and Capterra list its entry tier at USD $300 a month. Its card processing rate isn't published anywhere, and as a payment facilitator under Adyen it sets that margin itself. On wakesys your first 12 months are free, then it's 2% of what you take, dropping to 1% above $250,000 a year.

Two platforms, one company. wakesys 5.0 has run cable and water-ski parks since 2013 and includes RFID wristbands, gate control, lap counting, operator screens, memberships and season passes, gift cards, equipment rental, food-and-beverage ordering and fiscal compliance for Germany and Austria (TSE/EFSTA, RKSV). The new wakesys platform, launched in March 2026, is where all new development happens: online booking, pre-arrival waivers with guardian consent, per-guest claim links, iPad POS, upgrades and rule-based pricing. It has memberships, season passes and punch cards, with monthly billing from December 2026. Gift cards, rental inventory, RFID and the fiscal layer are being brought across, with the fiscal layer committed for the start of the 2027 season.
