Safety app
Session alerts on Apple Watch. Start on time. End on time.
The free wakesys safety app sends your staff a notification before each session starts and before it ends, with how many guests are booked. Nobody has to pull out a phone.

Get the highlights.
A session on the wrist.
01
Five minutes before it starts
A notification on the wrist: Aqua Park at 13:00, starts in 5 minutes, 6 of 12 booked. Five minutes to gather the group for the safety briefing.

02
While it runs
Raise your wrist for today's sessions: what's in progress, what's next and how many guests are booked in each. The app opens on the session that's running.

03
A minute before it ends
Another notification: Wakeboard ends at 12:30, in 1 minute. The group comes off on time and the next one isn't kept waiting.

04
Done at midnight
Work mode turns the alerts on for the shift. At midnight it switches itself off, so nobody gets buzzed on their day off.

Set it once.
No account and no login. Each person sets up their own watch.

Pick your park
Choose your park the first time the app opens. Get Started turns on the usual alerts.
Pick the reminder times
15, 10, 5, 1 or 0 minutes before a session starts, and the same before it ends, in any mix. Out of the box: 5 before the start, 1 before the end.
Follow your sessions
Each person follows only the session types they look after. The wakeboard coach doesn't get the aqua park alerts.
Work mode for the shift
Switch it on when the shift starts. It switches itself off at midnight.
For the people who run the sessions.
Session leaders
They start the briefing on time and end the session on time, without checking a phone.
Coaches and instructors
A notification before the lesson and another before it ends, with the group size on the wrist.
Safety staff
They know which session is next and how many guests to expect.
Lifeguards
The notification before a session ends and the count of guests booked tell them when to blow the whistle, so the group comes off on time and the whole park stays in sync.

There is no iPhone app. The wakesys safety app runs on the watch itself and installs from the App Store on the watch. Like every Apple Watch, the watch is set up with an iPhone.
Before a session starts and before it ends. Each person picks the times: 15, 10, 5, 1 or 0 minutes before, in any mix. Out of the box it's 5 minutes before the start and 1 minute before the end. The alert shows the session, the time and how many guests are booked.
Yes. Reminder times and session types are set on each watch, so the coach and the safety lead can each have their own.
Yes. At Charleston Aqua Park, lifeguards wear park watches with nothing on them but the wakesys safety app. The notification before a session ends and the count of guests booked tell them when to blow the whistle, so the group comes off on time and the whole park stays in sync.
The switch that turns the alerts on for a shift. It switches itself off at midnight, so the alerts stop when the day is done and nobody gets buzzed on their day off.
The alerts are scheduled on the watch, so the ones it already has still go off without a connection, with the booked count from its last update. The list keeps the last sessions it loaded and shows when they're from. New bookings and schedule changes come in with the next update once the watch is back online.
